Order-to-Invoice Sync
Shopify orders flow into MYOB AccountRight as invoices automatically. Customer details, line items, shipping, and tax are mapped. No manual data entry between systems.
Inventory Sync
Stock levels from AccountRight push to Shopify so your online store reflects accurate availability. Mapped by location where applicable.
Refund Sync
When a refund is processed in Shopify, InSyncer creates a corresponding negative invoice in AccountRight and processes the Pay Refund automatically. Supports partial refunds (per-item) and full refunds.
Multi-Currency (AccountRight Premier)
For businesses transacting in multiple currencies, InSyncer handles orders, invoices, and refunds across AUD, GBP, USD, NZD, and other currencies. Payment accounts are matched by currency automatically. Requires AccountRight Premier.
Payment Account Mapping
InSyncer matches payments to the correct AccountRight payment accounts based on currency and payment method. Each payment provider is mapped to the right account for clean reconciliation.
Error Notifications and Sync Logs
If a sync fails, InSyncer sends email notifications to your nominated addresses. Every sync is logged in the app so you can see exactly what's been processed and troubleshoot any issues.
How the integration works
InSyncer connects to MYOB AccountRight via the MYOB API. It runs as a native Shopify app, installed and configured by the CyberWorkshop team. Orders sync approximately every 15 minutes.
Your MYOB AccountRight system
AccountRight handles your accounting -- invoices, payments, inventory, and customer records. InSyncer reads inventory data from AccountRight and writes invoices back when Shopify orders come through.
InSyncer (the bridge)
InSyncer manages the data flow between the two systems. Installed from the Shopify App Store, configured by CyberWorkshop, with sync running automatically every 15 minutes.
Your Shopify store
Shopify handles the storefront and customer experience. Orders placed online are synced to AccountRight as invoices. Stock levels stay accurate. Refunds are processed in both systems.
Multi-currency for businesses selling internationally
If you're on AccountRight Premier and selling in multiple currencies, InSyncer handles the complexity. Orders in GBP, USD, NZD, or any other currency are synced to AccountRight with the correct currency, exchange rates, and payment account mapping.
Refunds are handled automatically too. For domestic currency refunds, InSyncer processes the Pay Refund through Settle Returns & Credits in AccountRight. For foreign currency refunds, it uses a CustomerPayment workaround to handle a known MYOB API limitation -- the refund is still processed automatically in the correct currency and amount, just recorded differently in AccountRight.
Multi-currency requires MYOB AccountRight Premier. InSyncer works with all AccountRight versions for single-currency operations.
