Allfast Solutions supplies fasteners, power tools and industrial hardware to trade buyers across New Zealand, with stock held in more than one warehouse.
The challenge
Every trade account at Allfast has its own price. Some buy off list, some are on contract rates and some are on tiered pricing. Keeping those prices right online meant updating them by hand. Web orders were also re-keyed into MYOB Acumatica, and stock figures across the warehouses often didn’t match. For a trade buyer, a wrong price or an item that turns out to be out of stock is enough to pick up the phone instead.
The solution
InSyncer made MYOB Acumatica the single source of truth, with Shopify Plus reading from it. Each trade customer’s Shopify account is linked to their Acumatica customer record, so the price they see at checkout is the one Acumatica holds for them, along with their payment terms. Retail orders from consumers go to one dedicated Acumatica account, so they’re processed separately from trade business.
What InSyncer syncs
- Sales orders: Shopify Plus orders are created in MYOB Acumatica automatically
- Payments: payment details on paid orders are recorded against the Acumatica order
- Trade pricing: list, contract and tiered prices flow from Acumatica to each linked customer
- Inventory: stock levels from each warehouse update in Shopify to prevent overselling
- Customers: trade accounts in Shopify are mapped to their Acumatica records
The results
Orders now reach Acumatica without anyone re-keying them. Trade buyers see their own pricing and live stock as soon as they log in. Allfast runs trade and retail orders through one Shopify Plus store, and both land in the right place in the ERP.
