The business
Hydraulic Seals Australia (HSA) supplies hydraulic, rotary and pneumatic sealing elements to trade customers across Australia, from six warehouses.
The challenge
HSA already ran on MYOB Exo, but its old web store was hard to update and didn’t work well on mobile. Trade buyers wanted to see their own prices and know what was in stock before ordering. The business wanted that data to come straight from Exo, not be maintained twice.
The solution
HSA moved to Shopify B2B, with InSyncer connecting it to MYOB Exo through LiveRelay for secure API access. Exo remains the master record. InSyncer creates products in Shopify from Exo data and pushes each trade customer’s pricing to their account. Stock from all six warehouses feeds the product pages, so buyers see what’s available before they order. Product images update daily from Google Drive.
What InSyncer syncs
- Customer pricing: trade prices from Exo show for each logged-in buyer
- Multi-location inventory: stock levels from six warehouses, checked on every page
- Products: new Exo stock items are created in Shopify automatically
- Orders: web orders, with delivery notes and order references, go straight into Exo
- Images: product images sync from Google Drive every day
The results
Web orders rose 16.8% after the move, and they’re still climbing. Trade buyers can serve themselves on any device, with their own pricing and live stock. Self-service has also cut customer service overhead for HSA.
